The School has two computer laboratories (Junior and Senior) with 15 computers in each lab accessible to students. It has advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software which cater to the requirements of the students, teachers and the curriculum.
The department has qualified teachers to teach classes at different levels i,e. Primary & Secondary. The faculty members make continuous efforts to see that the students must get expertise in practical implementation of tools they have in their curriculum.
The Information Technology curriculum has been planned in such a way that the students of classes I and II will get enough knowledge about the computer basic and some Windows accessories tools like Paint. The student of classes III to V will get exposure to various technologies and software. In the primary section, the students are trained to use basic software like Windows, MS-Office (MS – Word, MS-Powerpoint, MS-Excel etc) and a drawing language LOGO. In the junior wing, computers are shared between two students for the better learning environment.
In the higher classes the students have an option to learn advanced software which are the part of their curriculum like MS –Access , HTML and Open Office.Org, Flash Professional, Visual Basic etc.
In the Senior lab, the ratio is one to one so, they get exposure to computer programming at elementary stage through the computer languages like Qbasic, HTML and JAVA in order to improve their logical skills. The students are accessed their practical skills over a regular time interval via projects and assignments given to them.
